Mapgen has come ahead in leaps and bounds and has really improved over the last few months. In the latest release there were new generation types, biomes and texures, civs, AI markers, as well as improvements to generations and props. Coming up is support for >2 teams as well as FFA and asymetric FFA, as well as more generation options, and improvements to 20km generation.
